Inu-Yasha
This is our lovable hanyou star. His father was a mighty dog demon, and his mother was a beautiful human girl. His older brother is Sesshoumaru. He was sealed in suspended animation for 50 years by Kikyou's miko arrow. Freed by Kagome. He's not one to express his feelings openly. His Quest is to regain all shards of the Shikon no Tama to become a full youkai, and to get revenge on Naraku. He seems to be very well known with the demons of the lands.

Kagome Higurashi is a 15 year old high school girl who was transported back to feudal Japan, through a well in the back of her family's shrine. Upon arriving, she was attacked by a centipede monster, and was wounded, releasing the Shikon no Tama from her body. She's the reincarnation of Kikyou. The jewel was accidently shattered by Kagome when she was shooting an arrow. Her quest is to regain the shards with Inu Yasha. Back in the present, she
struggles to keep up with her studies.

Sango
Sango is a charming youkai taijiya ((demon slayer)) who has had an unfortunate past. Her father and fellow slayers were assassinated by Sango's little brother, Kohaku. Kohaku was under the spell of Naraku, and he turned on his loved ones. She was tricked by Naraku into believing that Inu Yasha was the one who caused the bloodshed, and went after him. Because of Kohaku's damage inflicted upon her, she should have died, but didn't. Naraku deceived her, and kept her alive using a shikon shard. Inu Yasha's group was able to convince her to believe the truth about Naraku's trickery and and deception, and she has joined their quest. Sango is too cute for her own good, for Miroku fondles her more than anyone else.
Miroku is the hentai houshi, the lech, the pervert, the list goes on. This buddhist monk isn't quite into chastity. Although Miroku may seem to only have eyes for a pretty girl, he has a strong sense of loyalty. His famous quote whenever he sees a woman is "Watashi no ko o unde kudasai?" "Will you bear my child?" He is quite fond of Sango, although she's not fond of him rubbing her behind. Miroku's weapons are his staff, and the Kaze'ana; a wind vortex curse on his right palm. It sucks in anything and everything, and eventually the curse will overwhelm Miroku's own body, and he will cease to exist. This curse was placed on his grandfather by Naraku, and it goes down through the generations. Miroku needs to be careful, though. If any of Naraku's Saimyoushou (poison bees) get sucked up into the void as well, it would mean his death. They have a deadly poison Naraku made specially for him.

Shippou
Shippou is the cute little kitsune fox who loves playing tricks. He can shape change along with other mirages such as duplicating himself, all using leaves. His father was killed by the Hiten brothers, and Inu Yasha took care of them. After this incident, Shippou joined Inu Yasha's group in their conquest for the magical shards. He's quite lovable, but he's always abused by Inu Yasha. He's not the best of fighters, but he does try hard to provide as much help to the group as possible.
